​As an artist, I’m exploring attrition in nature, society, relationships, and language.​

​

​Attrition occurs at junctions where the organic collides with the inorganic; as people meet in love or war; and when words are changed by usage and reinvention.​

​

I employ a wide variety of materials to express my ideas.

​

Having said that, sandpaper is a key medium with its abrasive function, the duality of its rough and smooth sides, and its potential to symbolise attriton in multiple ways.

​
